So, I was strolling home from school one day, probably when I was in middle school. Our neighbors had hired a landscaping company to work that summer. It was a scorching hot day for early June, and this brawny man took off his shirt as I passed by. Something stirred within me. I couldn’t resist staring, and I was totally oblivious to what was right in front of me. I ended up walking straight into our mailbox! The clanging noise caught the shirtless man’s attention, and he looked right at me. I was mortified, so I grabbed the mail and bolted into my house. I still think about him sometimes.

This piece is on an 8.5x11 unstretched cotton canvas sheet, and it was varnished with a UV protective satin finish. The painting is meant to be displayed in a frame, glass optional, and it’s signed on the back.
